Mark Ashworth, Partner

Mark is responsible for audit and accountancy advice and leads Kendall Wadley’s corporate finance team. He has been in practice since 1990 and qualified 1996. Mark spent 3 years as a senior audit manager for Robson Rhodes in Birmingham working on owner managed businesses and a number of listed public company audits including Betterware plc and Intelek plc. His corporate finance experience includes numerous due diligence assignments.Mark acts for an extensive range of clients in differing sectors and specialises in professional practices, veterinary practices, businesses operating in leading edge information technology and retail sectors.Mark also has a keen interest in how new technology affects our clients and is a certified adviser for Xero Cloud accounting and can assist businesses who are looking to move to a cloud based accounting system and related products including document scanning and payment services.

Jeremy Clarke-Morris, Partner

Jeremy specialises in tax and heads up Kendall Wadley’s taxation team. Jeremy started his career at Crowe Clark Whitehill but more recently he has gained considerable experience working with top five accountancy firm Grant Thornton.

Whilst Jeremy deals with all aspects of personal and corporate taxation, he has a particular interest in Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and transactional work. His client base over the years has included directors of multi-national companies, large professional practices and high net worth individuals.

Elizabeth Needham, Partner

Elizabeth trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Kendall Wadley and became a partner in 1998. She is also a chartered tax adviser taking the VAT specialist route. Liz provides support to small and medium sized owner managed businesses including audit.

She also specialises in charities and the not-for-profit sector, and advises on pension schemes and strategic planning.

Sarah Morley, Partner

Sarah qualified as a chartered accountant and statutory auditor with the firm after joining in 2009. Throughout this period, she has worked across a wide variety of sectors providing advice and assistance in accountancy, statutory audit, internal controls, accounting systems and taxation to predominantly small to medium sized organisations including limited companies, charities, not-for-profit organisations, clubs and societies, both locally and nationally.

David Farebrother, Partner

David qualified as a chartered accountant and statutory auditor with the firm after joining in 2011 from University of Birmingham with a first-class honours degree in Business Management.

He has worked across a variety of sectors in accountancy, statutory audit, charities and taxation both locally and nationally. He also specialises in the Solicitors Accounting Rules, whereby he has led and managed the assignments for numerous years.

Carole Liddle, Associate

Carole has been with Kendall Wadley in 2011 having previously been a senior manager at a leading audit firm in Birmingham. She has many years' experience with large clients, groups of companies and all aspects of compliance work.

She is responsible for managing and controlling Kendall Wadley's audit clients, specialist sector work (SUCH AS Solicitors Accounts Rules)  to ensure that the ever increasing compliance in the audit field is adhered to. The charity sector work has been developed and has involved providing seminars for clients on specific aspects of charity governance. As audit thresh-holds increase Carole is seeking to encapsulate work  into that already performed for both audit and non-audit clients to provide added benefit and broader services to clients.

Tina McCollum, Payroll Manager

Tina is Kendall Wadley’s payroll expert. She has over 30 years' experience and manages whole client relationships for approximately 250 payrolls. She possesses extensive payroll knowledge including sick pay, maternity pay, redundancy, auto enrolment pensions and statutory requirements. She works on payrolls from 1 employee to over 100 plus employees.

Christine Perks, Associate

Christine qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2007 at a local accountancy firm in Worcester and joined Kendall Wadley in 2010 and became Client Services Manager in the small business and audit department.

Since Christine has been in practice she has dealt with both corporate clients and individuals across a wide range of industries. As well as small business accounting and taxation, she has worked in specialist areas such as estate agents, charities, preparation of cash flow forecasts and due diligence.
