As part of its 150th anniversary year celebrations, the Kendall Wadley partners and staff are delighted to confirm the launch of the Kendall Wadley Charitable Trust.

Created to mark this prestigious anniversary, and as part of a full year of celebrations, the Charitable Trust is supporting only charity clients and local charities across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Chief Executive Mark Ashworth explains: “The history of Kendall Wadley is being celebrated throughout the 12 months of this anniversary year. But as well as looking back to what the firm has achieved, we are also looking forward. The Kendall Wadley Charitable Trust is all about putting something back into the community in which we live, work and do business.”

There are nine charities in the Kendall Wadley Charitable Trust: Worcester Porcelain Museum, New College Worcester, Malvern Mencap Society, Acorn's Children's Hospice, Laslett's Almshouses, Headway Worcester Trust Limited, Worcester Samaritans, Leukaemia Care and Little Princess Trust. Each charity was selected by a committee of Kendall Wadley staff on the merit of individual applications which were submitted.

Kendall Wadley’s 150th anniversary year includes a range of activities and events, most of which have a fundraising element. At the end of the anniversary year in September 2012, the funds in the Charitable Trust will be divided amongst the charities.
